Since Debbie heavily hinted that she needed a durable retractable keychain (from Daiso)...well, that makes it a little easier for me ;) I confess, I hurt myself trying it out LOL. For Day 17, I decided to make a little tuck-in box with some whimsical circles on top.
DIY Circle Topped Box
(Difficulty: Easy)
Supplies
(1) Download the template here!
(2) Scrap cardboard / old cereal boxes
(3) Colored Scrap paper
(4) Old book pages
(5) Scissors
(6) Double tape
(7) Hole punch
(8) Twine (not shown)
(9) Brass fastener

1. Print out the template and trace onto your scrap cardboard. Cut along the solid lines and score along the dotted lines (folding lines). The gray areas will be where your double tape should stick. Assemble box.
2. Cut out three circles and punch holes in the center of each: red paper = largest 2" in diameter, cardboard = medium 1.5" diameter, and book page = smallest 1" diameter.
3. Punch a hole in the center of your lid. Assemble the red circle on the bottom, cardboard, then book page.
4. Push your fastener through the holes. Bend down the prongs to secure
5. Place your gift inside and use twine to to wrap around the circles to secure the box.
I esp love this box because it prints perfectly on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper and is so easy to assemble!
