REVIEW | E.L.F Haul

*Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored by E.L.F. I paid for these products out of my own pocket and this is an honest review. All opinions are my own and are in no way influenced by their company.

Yeeeee I got so excited when I saw that Eyes Lips Face (E.L.F) was having a free shipping no minimum promotion. I haaaate paying shipping so I picked up a few products I've had my eye on but was unable to find at Target or other stores. They're known for having pretty inexpensive makeup products so I've heard their items are a hit or miss. I limited myself to just under $20 worth of stuff (self-control!) and loved almost everything I got. Can you guess which item(s) that I didn't end up loving?

1. All Over Color Stick - $0.49 each in Lilac Petal and Golden Peach, $1.00 each in other colors

I picked this up on a whim because hey, 49 cents! This stick was a lot smaller than I expected but it has a creamy formula in a cool twist up tube. You can use this as an eyeshadow, blush, or as lipstick (literally on the eyes/lips/face...get it?). I most likely will use it as blush as it's a bit flashy for the eyes and I don't particularly enjoy stuff on my lips. It's quite shimmery and pigmented . I really liked the pretty bronze/pink colors and might pick up some other shades. They are still on clearance last I checked!

2. Studio Eye Refresh - $3.00

I think this is meant to be something like Garnier's dark circle rollerball thing. While it does feel cool when I roll it on, I don't see any significant improvement on my terrible undereye circles. Was slightly disappointed.

I also picked this up on a whim since it was "only a dollar" and I really should've listened to the reviews... Perhaps I was overexcited since only waterproof mascaras work for my stick-straight lashes. The formula is somewhat dry and the wand is alright but I don't think there are enough bristles to really define your lashes. Pretty disappointing

I picked this up because I have the bad habit of picking at the dry skin on my lips. You wet your lips and apply this over it, then rinse off. The grains are sort of rough but not super harsh and this has a pleasant vanilla scent. I like it and I need to exfoliate my lips more often to avoid picking at them.

And I saved the best for last! I've been searching for a nice eye cream and I was crossing my fingers while reading the reviews that this would be my HG. I looove the pretty mint packaging and the container itself was made of some pretty durable plastic (reminds me of Clinique?). Upon opening it, I was greeted with a cover to protect the cream from spilling out adorned with an adorable little leaf! LOVE! This eye cream goes on super smoothly and absorbs fairly quickly (yay no stickiness). It's unscented but doesn't really have any cooling effect as far as I've noticed. You only need the teeniest bit and it goes on great under my concealer. This was the most expensive item I picked up and I sort of cringed at the thought of a $10 eye cream (I'm so cheap lol) but this will last quite a while so I'm not complaining. I don't see any significant reduction in my dark circles (they'll never go away...) but it keeps my undereyes well hydrated.

Woohoo thanks for sticking through my lengthy reviews! Have you tried any of the products above? What's your favorite ELF product?
