DIY | Advent Calendar Day 3: Matchbox

It's Advent Calendar Day 3 here at Cafe Craftea and I'm super excited to show you what I made! Today I made Debbie a tassel phone dust plug charm using a bead cap, some chain, suede lacing, and assorted beads (tutorial will be coming soon, promise!). I packaged it in a handmade matchbox, perfect for holding teeny things!

DIY Matchbox

(Difficulty: Easy)

Supplies

(1) Download the template here
(2) Scrap cardboard / old cereal boxes
(3) Old book pages
(4) Metal number (numerical stickers work well too!)
(5) Glue
(6) Scissors
(7) Double tape (not shown)

Steps

1. Print out the template and trace onto your scrap cardboard / book pages. Cut along the solid lines and score along the dotted lines (folding lines). The gray areas will be where your double tape should stick.

2. Assemble the box, place your gift inside, and insert into the book page slip.

3. Apply some glue onto your metal letter and attach.
