DIY | Paint Chip Phone Case

Some days, I just can't seem to choose between options. Case and point (teehee, you see what I did there?): I change my phone case fairly often because I usually get bored of the color. While it'd be nice to have one in every color to suit my latest whim, I love thinking up multiple uses for objects so I made this tutorial for a ridiculously easy interchangeable phone case using (what else?) paint chips! There are so many colors available, I'm fairly sure you'll never get bored with yours :)

DIY Paint Chip Phone Case

(Difficulty: Easy)

Supplies

(1) Template (I used one of the cardboard ones that came with case)
(2) Clear case: iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 5C, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4
(3) Paint chips (Make sure they're large enough for your phone case. Mine were Behr from Home Depot.)
(4) Scissors
(5) Pen

Steps

1. Cut out and trace your template onto the back of your paint chip. I had to guesstimate and freehand the Samsung templates. Let me know if they turn out alright! Also, if you don't see your phone here, drop me an e-mail and I'll be happy to upload templates for a specific brand.

2. Cut out your paint chip. Trim as needed to fit your case. Repeat with the rest of the paint chips.

3. Slip into the back of your case and snap your phone in. Enjoy!

** Don't wanna DIY? Faster to buy? I'll be selling any extras I made, along with many other items, in my shop Two Teaspoons coming soon. Stay tuned!

  5. Such solid nice color phone cases. Your articles and contents are always unique and fashionable. You can also use a wooden case. I am using a Google pixel 6 pro wood case. It is very durable, eco-friendly, and light in weight.
