DIY | Leather Phone Strap

*Disclaimer: This post is brought to you courtesy of Endlessleather.com. I received samples of their products in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own and are in no way influenced by their company.

This is my third tutorial for Endlessleather.com! If you missed out on the last two Endlessleather tutorials or want to read my review, you can find them here and here.

I have a habit of going out the door and not finding enough hands to hold my keys, phone, purse, etc... Of course I could throw everything in my purse but as I may have mentioned before, my purse is quite a dark abyss of mumbo jumbo. This leather strap is a great way to hang on to your phone, keys, camera, or wallet for quick access.

Steps

1. Measure and cut out 8 inches of leather lace.

2. Squeeze glue into an end cap and insert both ends of the leather lace. Let dry.

3. Open your jump ring and attach the strap, lobster clasp, key ring, and/or phone plug.

Can you say suuuper easy and multi-functional? Because of all the different attachments, this leather strap is definitely not limited to your phone :)

  1. Awesome, I want one! I always use my phone as a camera while we travel, so this would be a great way to hold it and not have to put it away after each use.

    1. Me too! I find myself really nervous about whipping out my phone to capture those special moments on vacation for fear of dropping it. It's super easy to make so I hope you can try it!

  2. Just curious ...... how well does that phone plug stay in? No concerns with it coming out of the hole and the phone crashing to the floor?

    1. Hi Anon, that's a great question. The phone plugs are in actually a really tight fit. I even had a bit of difficulty putting it in. I'm confident that it would support the weight of your phone/camera/wallet; however it does depends what type of phone plug you get since some fit looser than others, so I understand your concern. I just updated my ReadyCart, so you can click on that to see the exact ones I used. Hope that helps! :)

  3. Nice phone Straps. Your articles and contents are always unique and fashionable. You can also use a phone case for some extra protection for your phone. I am using a Google pixel 6 pro wood case. It is very durable, eco-friendly, and light in weight.
