DIY | Simple Pearl Studs

It'll be a while before I can afford a pair of real pearls; I'd be too nervous about losing them! Perfect paired with an updo and pumps, these pearl studs will be an elegant, timeless, and classy addition to any wardrobe. Best part: you won't cry (too much) if you ever lose one!

Simple Pearl Studs

(Difficulty: Easy)

Supplies

(1) Round white glass pearl beads
(2) Stud earring posts + backs
(3) Bead caps, slightly smaller than your bead
(4) E-6000 glue

Steps

1. Place a drop of glue on the earring post and attach the bead cap (it helps "cup" the bead) so it won't roll around while drying.

2. Place another drop of glue on the bead cap and attach the pearl bead. Mine had holes so I positioned it in a way so that the hole doesn't face the front when you wear it. Let dry.

I let mine dry on the carpet since they kept rolling around. I also made a pair in silver; now I just need a fancy event to wear these to!

** Don't wanna DIY? Faster to buy? I'll be selling any extra pairs I made, along with many other items, in my shop Two Teaspoons coming soon. Stay tuned!
